Can anyone help me please. I am trying to install a homebrews on a memory stick but it has an identical named folder as another homebrew alrady on the stick (named "PSP" and contains saved data and some other info). I cannot rename the new one i want to install through my PC. I have installed the PSP file assistant to see if i can remane the folder already on the stick, say to "PSP1" but don't know how to use the file assistant. Will this work (I don't want to corrupt the info in the existing folder) and how do I do it?
Please help,
Thanks

1. just format ur stick, start over
2. dl homebrew apps (ver 1.5 only, some for 2.0)
3. place the apps; ex: pspgenesis and pspgenesis%, both of the folders in ur GAME folder, not games or homebrew folder, IN THE GAME FOLDER.
4. finished product should be x:\psp\game , where x represents ur psp drive letter, it can be any letter, in the game should both of them, then just launch under the game icon of us psp, just scroll down to the mem stick icon and click on the one thats not corrupted DO NOT ERASE THE CORRUPTED ICON AS THE GAME WONT WORK WITHOUT IT.

Hey sanjay,
When you copy the gen files to your psp the PSP folder we give you will not write over the PSP folder. So stuff you already have in there will be safe from being overwritten. Just make sure the folder for the brew you have right now isnt the name of one of the new things.
... if that made any sense.... haha
Thanks
