HELP can't downgrade

I bought a jap version 1.5 then upgraded to v2 so I could play a certain game I have tried and tried to downgrade but I can't I have followed all instructions but when I copy the overflow tif into my psp photo folder when I go to find it on my PSP after discconecting my USB connection in my photo it isn't there then after a few seconds the psp shuts down I leave it for 30-50 secs then turn it on it goes to the game folder I then go to mem stick click on the 1.5 but nothing it says "The system software on your PSP system is version 2.00. there is no need to update" what the hec is going on please help as I want to play homebrew games.

ive never upgraded but google the MPHdowngrader and see if u can find their WEB SITE , they have the authentic downgrader, DL IT, open the zip and in there should be a readme with EXACT instructions on how to downgrade so FOLLOW THEM CAREFULLY.

haha, thats what happened to me! i was trying to downgrade my friends psp, so i googled in psp 2.0 downgrader. And guess what, all of them had psp.brick in them. Even the one made my MPH!

If you want to upgrade, I have the original EBOOT file for the 2.0 firmware...
-I keep all of my files so yea.

http://mphwebsite.tuxfamily.org/index.php?page=1 and i already used the file from this site and it works find just turn off norton or it wont like you extract the file and for the 2.0 update head over to psp-hacks.com
