PSP Screen Problem, Please help!

Hey guys, I really need some input. I just purchased Hori screen protector from Japan. I applied the protector after cleaning my screen with a special LCD cleaning solution.

After applying the protector I realized I had accidentally touched the sticky side and had a visible fingerprint on the protector. I removed the screen protector and threw it out. (Ordering a new one)

Anyhow the problem I have is that now my psp screen attracts dust like no tomorrow, I use to just be able to blow it off but now I have to actually wipe the screen with a cleaning cloth. Very irritating. I don’t know if it’s the screen protector that left the invisible residue or if it was the LCD cleaning solution.

Can someone please help and give feedback as how I can get rid of the invisible residue and suggest if it could have been the Hori screen protector or the LCD cleaning solution (by BELKIN) that left this problem.

Thanks allot.

well u know when u get out of the car u sometimes get a shock touching the door? well its smilar to that except the the psp's plastic stays charged attracting anything like dust to it. Static is usually gotten rid of by touching somethig metal. Also, have tried wipping the screen with a DAMP not DRIPING cloth?

I will try to wipe the screen with a damp lint free cloth, hopefully it will eliminate the static cling.

So I'm assuming the screen protector caused this. By the way is their any other suggested ways of eliminating the static cling?

Thanks allot

Your problem is nothing. It's dust, dust is everywhere, and trust me, I know, it buggs me a lot!

Anyways, All you do is clean your PSP screen with the cloth that you get with the psp value pack, or just use a 100% white cotton shirt and wipe it, as soon as you have it wiped, stick on the screen protector and leave it on and you'll be fine.

Yeah, I got a new Hori screen protector that should be arriving in the mail soon. After i install it everything should be fine.

It just bugs me currently becasue before the first attempt at installing the screen protector it was never this bad.

But i'll just bite my lip untill the new one arrives.

Thanks for the help guys.
