Question about converting music to mp3 format

I got a midi music file and i want to convert it to mp3 format is it possible? I tried to use sonic stage but that doesnt work with midi files. Any suggesstions?

have you tried MS movie maker? its built in to your windows XP if you use windows...

ya i tried that but that doesnt support midi files either

also an app i got call cdex converts pretty much any music codec and has a number of plugins to use.
but u gotta burn to cds as audio not data and then use cdex to extract to any music format u like.
so u gotta burn to a cd b4 u can convert. it works tho, i burn mp3s as audio to a cd and then extracted them as wavs
