Are We Playing Games Too Much?

*EDIT* THIS ARTICLE WAS NOT WRITTEN BY ME. it is posted up on Pspupdates.com

Yup, you heard me, are we playing too many video games? There's a million different answers to that question, and it all depends on who you're asking. The girlfriend/wife? Yes. Your parents/relatives? Yes. Yourself? Hell, no.

Well, it seems some people out there ARE actually interested in breaking the gaming habit, as reported today by the Dallas Morning News. In an article published today, the newspaper profiles a number of parents who say their children are too addicted to games.

By coming down on them and disciplining them, the parents have had some success in curbing their polygon-induced nirvana. Thirteen-year-old Cooper says it best: "My dad takes the GameCube away when we're playing it too much. The first week we're miserable and then we forget about it. We go outside, play basketball, play with friends, run around like crazy. After a while, you're having more fun."

More fun ... than, dare I say, fragging?! I think not.

Perhaps Dr. Ken Haller, of the Saint Louis University School of Medicine, who offers tips for parents, is the wisest of all when he says: "If you can't beat them, join them. Family time can include playing a video game." Rock on, Ken. Rock on.

What do you think? Are we playing too many games? Or not playing enough? Chime in all ye faithful.

(Psst. Dr. Ken Haller's Gamertag is "Hallerback69.")

personally i think not.

Whatever. If you play to much games, it's ok. But for those people out there wh oaren't in shape, and all they do day after day is play games, should exercise too. What I'm trying to say is, playing games is fine, but too much is not good.

Maybe you sho;uld have put that whole thing in this format:
" "

I can easily tell right away its from updates. But the thing I caught was this phrase:
"
(Psst. Dr. Ken Haller's Gamertag is "Hallerback69.")

personally i think not."

That tells me ur trying to make them think u wrote it. But anyways I dont care.
Anyways back on topic, but this guy it wasnt video games, it was playing on the computer too much. One night he played on the computer and didnt get off it for a second. He stayed on for two days straight without food or water given to him. And on the second night, he had a heart attack.
I dont think its video games we play too much, I think its pcs. Their soo addicting tho!!!!!!!
But screw the guy who made this,
VIDEO GAMES ROCK! And plusI mostly play megaman 8 most of the time, so heres what I say:
HOW CAN THAT GAME BE SOO FREAKING ADDICTING WHEN I DIE LIKE EVERY 5 SECONDS AT THE START OF A LEVEL?
