Hey everyone!

I have had this same problem over and over again...
and sony keeps giving me a new one everytime.
but i think my 1 year guarantee has expired...
and i can't find my receipt.
well anyway...
when I put the umd disk in the psp...
It will try to read the disk and keep reading and reading...
then it comes up with the error saying it can't read the disk.
I can play emulator games and homebrew.
But i can't play the umd games...
btw anyone have a link to the win 98 drivers for the psp..
i know there is one but i haven't been able to find it.

If you any questions or anything.
post here.
thanks

cloudmars

your memory stick is probably just laz right now. This has happened to me one time. One time, I tried playing ym emulators, playing my umd looking at photos and everything but it just decided to be lazy and just break. So the cure was to put all my stuff on my mem stick in my pc and just blank everything out on my mem stick. I mean like overwrite it. So then I put them back on and it was working again!

EDIT:
Great to have you back on the forums! I see ur still using my sig I made for u.

It isn't worth running windows 98 on the PSP, only windows 95, and here is a site for it:

well if you cant fix your psp by cleaning it then you should go to Fix My Playstation. but be warned, if you use their service you are voiding sony's warranty.

i had this prob but what i did was take that metal circle thats in the umd disks out, i thot it didnt need it, but i poped in the psp and got that. BTW the disk i did that to was the sample disk, the plastic came apart i was said f*** it, took out the disk, threw it, and took that metal circle out.

And about windows pstation, he wasnt asking for how to run it on the psp, i think he was talk about drivers for win95 on his comp. But try the microsoft site, im sure they got drivers, but i thot win95 could see the psp as a removable disk :? well i guess it has probs with usb2.0 devices.
