PSP Go

Well boys and girls.
I'm now the owner of a PSP Go, although it wasn't my choice. My current mindset is to head on over to gamestop and swap my go for a Phat.
Before I even get mentally prepared to do so.
Whats the brew scene like on the Go? I see there's a HEN now, and I'm wondering if we can load ISO's yet.

6.20 HEN will be out between the 20th and 24th! I would recommend keeping the Go!! :D And get back into programming! I set up the development environment and you should, too! ;)

Yeah, the TN HEN for 6.2 is coming out on the 24th.
There was a HBL released for 6.35 yesterday. :P

Okay, out of the box my firmware was 5.70, so that was good. HBL loaded very easily.
Since no one bothered to make a news post *Glares at BKF, DPM77,Brent,crait. In that order*
Here's a link to TN-A HEN 6.20.
Worked like a charm!

I've been busy with Christmas. :O
Lol. And besides, this isn't even HEN! Why would this guy call it that?! It only enables Homebrew through RAM so whenever you turn off your PSP, it reverts it back to official settings! This is what the last 'HEN' did. So freakin' stupid! Nothing's gonna be like the HEN's of the past.

At this point someone needs to make a plugin that monitors all I/O to the CPU, then preform an update, and sift through that.

roxfox, that would work, but the .PBP is designed so that it contains the PSP operating system within the executable itself, so it automatically disables plugins and cuts itself off from whatever is set up to be running. That's how come Sony can run it the way they can to restore your PSP if it's bricked and so if you're updating from PSP firmware 1.00 to 6.00 or even higher that may require some files that may no longer be present on the filesystem.

Well, yeah but you're forgetting about the fact that the firmware has to check the executable before loading it. I'm purely talking about receiving the key/authorization process. which would happen just before the pbp is loaded, right after selecting it.

Yeah, I've had a lot of other similar ideas for figuring out how the PSP reads the signature.....

Well, act on them!
The first thing I'll be doing once I get the PSP SDK up if making an IRC Client that DOESN'T suck. *Glares at zX-81*
