what is a firmware loader used for again? (i know what're its feature) more interested in its applications... whay emulate 2.0+ on the PSP? Why why WHY???

umm, because people can play emulated and pirated games without waisting a ton of time downgrading and donwloading files which takes tons of minutes to donwload.

yes, dl or rip the game then use umd emulator and turn on the "use boot.bin" feature and do a direct load. Some games that require 2.0 like swbf2 and infected can be launched this way. Ive launched both but if i do a system menu load and click on the umd icon i get the fffffed3 error. BUT THAT RASTLING GAME THAT CAME OUT FOR 2.5 DID NOT WORK.

Whew... why cant someone just make this really cool software that'll find the setting automatically... hmmm...
