What has happened to the portals? Did they get erased or anything? Ahh!

yea, that and the gallery was taken down and was suppose to be 'made better' but that hasnt happened yet, but will be though.

Yeah, some of those links on the side don't work for me too, like the IRC chat, and I think we should update the tutorials, but yeah, I haven't seen the portals working for a while now!

a lot of stuff aint working... im not complaining cos im happy with the forums itself. but this kinda stuff is why we're FAR behind pspupdates

And pspupdates is far behind us, cause this is the only true psp forum. PSPupdates is full of immature psp and DS fanboys that talk about nothing but which handheld sucks more. And the comments on pspupdates is not considered a forum, but rather a comment. Same goes for their 360 and ps3 forum.

haha True true... Ive been to a lot of forums dude and ppl there are there just to get their posts up n unlock dloads and stuff... mostly n00bs snapping at mods and getting kicked and mean sh*t like that... this place is waaaaay better but i think you know what i really meant... lets get the frills up so more ppl r gonna come here. I meant no offence...

I've seen that. Before coming to PSPBrew, I was a member at another place.. but didn't stick around there too long. The common problem I found is that many MODs or veteran members there are always "yelling" at newbies to do searches than posting questions. I know it must be tough to run such a busy, busy forum where you are getting tons of repeated posts and questions. But my philosophy is answer the phocken question. Relink the posts where it discusses it. Teach and educate newbies and then they may also practice the same thing when another newbie asks the same question. Soon the MODs just need to sit back and moderate while the newbies help the other newbies with the similiar questions.

Plus the fact that PSP is always coming up with new ways or updates to do things. To conduct searches may find you with outdated info or worst yet, off-topic posts that go elsewhere then addressing the issue on hand.

I have learned a lot just by hanging out with you guys. And feel confident enough to assist new members when they come and ask the same questions I asked when I first arrived. I pledge to offer my help when needed.

I beleive this is the issue we here at pspbrew may have to face when we get more members than we can afford to help, but if everyone keeps it cool, answers the question and then go to the next person or question... we will soon be a busy and popular place.

Its not like we dont have enough members we`ve got like 1000 but none go back to this website or the forums

And i know what you mean... i was on a couple of forums where just reading thru ppls posts seemed like going thru heiroglyphics!!! Such utter crap. and i was yelled at so many times. never ended up getting the info i needed.

Then i came stumbled into PSPBrew. PStationP was one of the first guys to have answered all my seemingly stupid questions without the slightest remorse... i LOVE THIS SITE and the guys who make it so...

Thus, I too was a n00b who was taught, and taught well! Now i see it as my responsibility to help others.

Maybe some people just come, get their answers and go back to their normal lives. Some are joiners, others are just lurkers or "one-timers". PSP is a new thang.. I know a few of my friends didn't think of getting one, until they saw me with one. A few teachers are excited over its capabilities over the internet..

i do to believe PstationP does help out noobs i think he deserves to be a mod

dude ive been rooting for PStationP ever since i git here. he helps out EVERYONE! I mean he even beat all the mods to get to no.2 (i think) for the contributing 10. Hmmm... guess the world aint a nice place after all...

MEH, he did get 500 posts in a month, for real i reckon this forum needs pstationp to be a mod cause all the crap that goes through general chat and only 1 mod actualy does work (danolpy) since psportableV2 has vanished into thin air.

yeah man where is that guy??? Port has disappeared and theres this dumbass thread over at grafix bout some showdown on 9th. Danapoly's tight lipped too. Devils has disappeared and so have all admins and mods. If this was the real world, seeing the sherrif and his boys are outta town, would've broken into the liquor store and the strip mall would be where id live for free
