JTwright asked me a very interesting question about how to get music ony our signature.
THe answer is html.
I asked him if he knew what it was and it looked like he didnt.
Html is a very good process to help you make some good sites and as you can see, our portals section uses html (its down right now so dont bother using it)

If you would really like to get a closer look at htlm just look here:
http://www.w3schools.com/html/html_examples.asp

Honestly, you will understand it for sure if you just try some examples.
As an expeirianced game coder like myself, I use it all the time.
It is nothing compared to all the scripts I write for my games.
ITs very easbly understandable.
You should try it.

Another popular way is to use Flash. You can use Macromedia flah and can make your design and also incorporate music into it. Only problem is that phpBB doesn't allow flash signatures to display.

No, well htlml can be easily turned on, but its not aloud since as I said above you can have music in your signatures and you might not want to keep listening to the exact same song or annoyance over and over again, and thats why most forums dont have such things, since HTML can be pretty annoying, so thats why we have bbcode. Much more easier to use.

he said its down right now or they disable it because people kept having music in their sigs and it gets annoying
hearing it over and over or something.
