computers do not use ddr3, the ps3 does for its graphics. DDR2 is realistic tho as its faster
than regular ddr and uses less power. You cannot put a ddr2 dimm in a ddr slot cuz ddr2
uses 240 pins compared teh 172 (if im correct) that regular ddr uses and dd3
is too fast for today cpus and expensive. As for centrino, well if
youre lookn for speed over battery centrino is not it as its cpus only go up to 1.8 i mean
any higher and they wouldnt be known as battery saving cpus right. I have a laptop and
went with a p4 2.8ht 533fsb 512mb ddr sdram, i didnt care about battery, and a 64mb video
yea it sucks but i dont play games like doom3 on it. Also, try fitting 100gig hd into a
LAPTOP, laptop hds i think can only go as high as 60 or 80 gigs and after you might start
seeing a physical difference in the size and weight of it. From GATEWAY i got what u see there
with integrated bg wifi, x4 usb, 1394 firewire, mmc/sd/memory stick and compact flash reader
40gig hd ultraATA133 for $1,300 and ive seen 1.8 centrino laptops for that same price.

(sorry for crappy format as im using ie4.5 on the school's crappy imacs not emacs but imacs)
