Hmm. I think that the Nitnendo Wii will be better than both other next generation systems. I mean it has it all. Online gameplay, will have the best games, is innovated (didnt copy the hell out of Nintendo's Wii-mote) Lol, and the controller is called the Wii-mote. Now I like that name. The Wii is a next generation console that is meant for everyone, meaning people that never played games, people that do play games and those that will soon. But it also will offer the ability to download games straight from Nintendo, thats over 20 years of games (LEGALLY) and play them right on the Wii. Ha, I dont see sony nor microsoft offereing anything like that, heck, they are too cheap. All sony wants is your money with there linux powered machine. And while they worry about how much power they can clog in a system, Nintendo is aiming toward GAMING! They have yet to mention anything like linux and blue ray disc but does offer fun and entertainment for hours at a time. How about this, all other systems just butt off and let Nintendo RULE!

Anyone gonna refute that?

Really I mean they have even added sound to the Wii-mote Heck, now things are looking up for the Wii. I mean I doubt that the PS3 will stand a chance seeing as there isnt anything really new. Now I will be looking for more awsome things that blow the PS3 and the Xbox 360 out of the water here shorly, DA**IT I missed the Nintendo conference because I had school, does anyone know where I can view a rerun? So yeah I think that the Wii is showing alot of promising things at this years expo. But you dont have to take my word for it, just check it out yourself, I mean with sony's biggest change virtually being that the controller is wireless and the system is running linux or what ever there isnt anything really new ( exept another media format for disc just like those UMD's) Also, has anyone seen video of the Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess being played on the Wii, I mean the fact that you can swing your hand and real life and Link swing his sword is pretty awe inspiring. Now I will be back with anything else I find out. :wink:

Meant for everyone, this thing should be slaped with a sticker that says "for ages 10 and down" because it's gonna be a couple of years before they get there next "Resident Evil" or even a GTA lol never rockstar isn't retarded like that...

check this out, before you were born people had these magical things, they were called "cartridges", now people used these cartridges to own and play there games. they loved the thought that they would never have to re-buy these games in some form of money-whores desperatly eating a whole through ur wallet. whats so hard about adding a cartridges slot, oh but im sure nintendo will sell that in a month or so and cal it the Wii2, but by that time everyone will be soo pissed off and poor from downloading stuff against their will to buy it... oh and about sony or microsoft not doing anything, sony is releasing the ps2 and ps1 emu for the psp remember?

Alright, here is my case, oh and dont worry, I wont get mad.

Anyway, the reason I think that the Nintendo Wii is going to be so great is because I mean at the E3 they bring so many different things that no one else dared to create such as; A wireless controller with motion sensor and speakers built into the controller so that ther is an extra feel of realism. I mean with the PS3 you just have a controller identical to the last only with a few minor tweaks, 1. its wireless, 2.it has a USB port in the back 3. they stoll the four little light things from Nintendo thats on the controller. Now I am not suggesting that you come to the light side ( NINTENDO) but I do suggest that you actually check out the E3 and note some things before you come here and try to crush me with your post. Anyway, recently befor the E3, Nintendo announced a name change, and it was a warn good one, I mean playstation has no meaning to it. However Wii has a meaning to it but I wont get into that right now. But anyway, as I said before. THE WII IS AIMING AT GAMEING AND A WAY TO REVOLUITONIZE IT, MEANING CHANGE THINGS...YOU CAN NOT DO THAT WITH THE SAME THING ALL OF THE TIME. Now I know that the PS3 has some powerful equiptment in it. but is that all really nessiccary? NOPE, I mean its a freaking console for god sakes, not a damn windows xp. I mean 20 and 60 gb hardrives priced at an insane ammount just to be a gamer. Heck for that price I could have a Nintendo Wii and about a whole SLEW of games. And I will get to that a minute. but, I do admit, sony does change some of the times....By creating a god damn new format to play games in (blue ray disc) which also ups prices. Now whats the point?? THERE IS NO POINT! Sony is just about taking your money and ripping you off. Now for those games. At E3 Nintendo has sported quite a few games such as Twilight Princess, Mario Galaxy, a Tennis game( which will probably own any crappy PS3 game) and many more. And I have yet to see anything from the Sony conference, which I probably wouldnt care. But yeah, The Wii even went as far as to put in speakers in the controller. Oh and for those that say the Wii is for kids..Well its not, there have been plenty of mature'er games for older people like Red Steel and that new FF crystal chronicals. And what has sony got? Oh wait, let me guess, A new GTA.

May 8, 2006 - Just minutes ago, Sony made the announcement that its controllers would support tilt sensitivity and showed off the feature with a live demo of Warhawk. While this is a bit of a surprise, it also is to be expected in the grand scheme of gaming. Nintendo has been an innovator from the very beginning, and the best compliment is imitation. Of course, it's a little different when that imitation could put you out of business, right? Although PlayStation 3's and Wii's controllers may share some of the same technology, don't go counting Nintendo out just yet. There are some key differences between the controllers, and between what PS3 and Wii can do with the technology. Let's break it down.

We've known for over a year now that the Wii's input device is what makes it special. The Wiimote (as we've come accustomed to calling it), has the ability to point at any television with pixel-perfect control. In addition, it also can move in three dimensional space, meaning that if a player wants to punch an enemy in the face, they can by simply moving the controller forward. To add to the control, the nunchuck unit can team along with the Wiimote, giving tilt functionality to any game, as well as an analog joystick.

Luckily, Sony's technology isn't quite the same. Here's why:

The technology inside Sony's controller is a basic tilting accelerometer device. In a sense, that's the same style of control as the left hand of the Wii combination. Think of the technology as true 3D movement vs. basic tilt. The Wiimote will sense all pointing, motion and a new dimension of control, while the PS3 controller will expand only on the specific tilt functions. To make this a bit simpler to wrap your heads around, we've put it all in FAQ form below.

Now, I dont think anyone would be too fond of crap like that, Sony is cheap and I think they need to end! THe Wii is taking over and that is that ! While Nintendo strives to make now ideas Sony then comes behind and steals them.

In conclusion, PS3 is gonna lose And the Wii is thte champ!
