Hello everyone, i apologize that the site was down the last couple days... We are actually in the process of trying to make new changes in the next few weeks, and accidently the coding was messed with and we had to wait for a day to get the owner to fix it up. Anyways im sorry the site was down but we are back up and continue to enjoy guys.

actually, i crashed the site purely by accident. Nobody, not even myself was trying to install any style. Solaris was clicked without me noticing and when i clicked submit, you know the rest...And of course, i apologize for that and i admit i screwed up.

I thought Terdinglage did that.
Well not by accident he said that he had to shut it down but he couldnt since when he disabled the menu and such he couldnt access the admin panels.
So then he said he would have to lock all the forums or something haha.
Well anyways Iunno but its good to be back.

And I thought, someone messed in the ACP configurations with the template and after the change the person couldn't get back into the ACP since he most probably was seeing the same error we all got to see. There is a new phpBB version (2.0.21) that takes care of this. If for a strange reason a template goes corrupt, the forum will default back to the default template (most probable subSilver if you still have it). I hope you have upgraded to 2.0.21. Lots of bugs were fixed with that update.

The way to correct the previous matter is go into the mySQL database. Find out the number version of the Template you tend to use and then go into the Config of the database and switch the number to the template that works. So if the Template is No. #3 then in the Config of mySQL you change the style to #3. That is how easy that is. Or that is the way I know how to do it, since I had done before for a few phpbb customers.

the funny thing is, the forum is not updated. Its still .18 right now. I dont want to update it without niks permission.

If this forum has MODs (modifications or hacks) added than the original phpBB2 that is made available, than you will have to go from phpBB 2.0.18 to 2.0.19, and then so one until you be up to 2.0.21. If you have MODs and don't know how to do this, I could do this for a small fee. Since this is what I work on. I upgrade phpBB forums for many clients on a regular basis. Let me know.

Beware of 2.0.18, there were a few "known" exploits between 2.0.18 and 2.0.19 that makes your site vulnerable to these hacks.

wat i thought was that some of the people who got banned since they were hacking people i thought they hacked brew (anyone who has been banned and ur reading this no offense)
