so this has prolly been asked a zillon times, but i dont come here alot..im not even sure if this is the right place to post this..but meh >.>
If i update my psp to v2.71 can i still emulate useing the GTA hack?
im at v2..asking now, before i hit update , and then cant play Bust-a-move lol.

NO YOU CANNOT USE ANY HOMEBREW ON 2.7!!! NEVER UPGRADE YOUR PSP!!! Check out my guide to see if you qualify for downgrading, and if you do, you can EMULATE 2.71 on your 1.5 using an application called DEVHOOK. Check it out if you want more info and download my NOOB KIT for a downgrader for 2.5 & 2.6, which will tell you if you are compatable to downgrade. But take this seriously NEVER UPGRADE YOUR PSP'S FIRMWARE PAST 2.6!!!!!!!!!

so downgrade. and then get this DEVHOOK to be able to play UMD games and what not?
i use to be at v1.5 and my Bro bought GTA when it came out, and i only let him play it(and upgrade me psp) cuz i could use Eboot to emu games. But ill look into this DEVHOOK.

hey i just reacently downgraded to 1.5 from 2.6 and im impressed with what more i can do i got devhook and hergly's custom firmware i strongly recomend downgrading and never EVER update again

yes downgrade to 1.5 and use devhook to emulate 2.7 and you can play any umd/iso
