hmmm... i was thinking, and i thought a lot
and i thought of a possible hack
now, this is just a thought, so dont flame me please...
lol, im not going to tell you of course, because i dont tell ppl my hakcs because this could possibly do something....

anyways, to the iso thingy..... i think i remember my cousin having an image of red alert two for pc on his compy, so i can use the disk in mine so we can play multiplayer, and when it was on his compy, its icon was a winrar icon! i looked at the extinsion, and it was .iso
another thing is that when i uploaded winrar to my compy, the extension iso was listed in the things that can be opened
ok ok.... so with that said, could i possibly edit the psp game isos? has anyone tried it? because if im certain with this, this could help me out a lot! i could also do something super coolio, and everyone will be like "yay! thats cool!"
but i cannot tell you wat it is

btw... ive thought of many possibilities for hacks for psp, ranging anywhere from putting a hacked xml file, or mp3 file, then loading it on the rss tuner, to putting about 100 megs of useless code into a modded update file to make the psp become overwhelmed in code....

are you talking about simply replacing images or trying to put actual games on an ISO file? because I have tried to alter images and it dosen't work...

well, its like that... except different.
im not trying to alter the game, im trying to totally replace a whole part of the whole image
like, you could simple replace the /PSP_GAME/pic1.png file and then leave the rest of the iso alone, then load it up dev hook, and it will change too
so, its not interfering with the gameplay at all

Yes it can be easily done.
You just need to make sure when you're downloading an ISO its not pre-formatted (all ready in .iso format) so you can compile it into the .iso file using something like UMDGen.
Me and psmonkey were working together on a .ISO to translate the Japaneese Breath of Fire 3 ISO into English Format. We gave up after about a month since the text was going off the screen and out of the box where its suppose to be, plus it was all in caps. Heck after about 3 months after the english version (official) came out so we decided it was just a waiste of time.

But it would have been cool we made an english translation. :D
