It is degrading. How would you feel if an alien race kidnapped you from earth and forced you to ride a bike across a tightrope in front of hundreds of aliens while they laughed at you? And then they probably stuck you in a small cage.
I bet you would feel degraded.

I would be honored to learn how to ride my Yamaha across a tightrope for other peoples amusement, again I said not all the things they do are right like incredibly small caging.
