i leave the scene for a minute and 2600 turns into all about merchandising...i remember the tie when they where about the hack and downloading the radio show out of new york public radio with my 28.8 modem...good times...not where's the money

you use to be able to download it off the 2600 site...it was all about hacking phone phreaking and hacker injustice and gov. misuse of power to lock up hackers. various hacking info...but the site was also dedicated to hacker info. and all that...now it's just trying to seel things

i know it...was alot different back in the day...i started gettign back into it after being out of the scene for awhile and this is what happens...wqhat good is that site?...no good....what info does it t3elll you?...none...how does it further anything?...it doesn't...it's sad to see a hack group that was once great go down like that...why would i go to any meetings now?...hang with a buncha little kid posers...yay

hacker magazine...if you go to barnes and noble they'll have it...talks about all the recent hacks for security...phone hacks to get free calls and what not...letters from readers...conventions...meeting to talk with other hackers...use to have all the bands that the SS use in the area you live to keep tabs on them like they do to hackers...had SS profiles on agents...laws...if someone was locked up for no reason or unjustly they'd raise awareness support to get something doen about it...all kinds of stuff...
