I left my new psp connected to my comp. I started it up this morning, I got the "check drive for consistency" thing, and when I opened my psp root directory later, i got this text file in there.

Checking file system on E:
The type of the file system is FAT.

One of your disks needs to be checked for consistency. You
may cancel the disk check, but it is strongly recommended
that you continue.
Windows will now check the disk.
Convert lost chains to files (Y/N)? Yes
131072 bytes in 4 recovered files.
Windows has made corrections to the file system.

490930176 bytes total disk space.
0 bytes in 2 hidden files.
393216 bytes in 12 folders.
65634304 bytes in 23 files.
424902656 bytes available on disk.

32768 bytes in each allocation unit.
14982 total allocation units on disk.
12967 allocation units available on disk.

surprise...I guess.
