Is there anything cool that i can do with command prompt? I am so bored in my computers class at school and its the only thing that has the potential to do stuff

well if your comp is on the school sever you can typr this

net send (a users name) (what ever you want to say to them)

umm can you explain that better thats confusing for me and my school does have a server

Net isnt going to be recognizable as an external or internal command on windows.

work on ours

open command prompt

type: net send (user name) (messege)

for the user name, on ours, its first letter of first name, last name, -(year graduating)

ya know when you logg onto a computer, if you have your own account on that server, you have your own user name.

using this you can do somethin like this

net send afreybler-09 you suck

and the prompt will come up on your freinds comp saying "you suck" "blah blah (comp #)

awsome ill try it tommorrow

will it say who sent it?

it will give a computer number or sumthin

well
if you have a firewall at your school that blocks websites, you can get command prompt open, and ping a website
get the ip or server address
type it in in your adress bar
and hit enter and you go to the website :-p


or you can just type in help
and a list of junk will fly up that you can type in
it also has a description

you can also type in tree
and a tree graph of all the information on your computer and all the drives will pop up

ok crait, tell me how to open a blocked site, i want on psp-hacks

you have to open up command promt and ping it by typing in "ping psp-hacks.com" without the quotes
and then hit enter
a number will show up
put that number in your address bar in internet exporer or so
and again hit enter

the site may come up distorted, or without a background
