180 PS3s stolen from a Japanese trucking company

Given that these days, PS3s are selling on the resale market (e.g., eBay) for somewhere in the neighborhood of $800 or $900, someone in Japan stands to make a hefty profit. Asahi.com reports that on the evening of December 5, 180 units were lifted from the Meitetsu transport company's Ibaraki warehouse in Naka city (northeast of Tokyo), which should yield some serious dough, or whatever the Japanese slang for yen is. While this will only drive up the prices of PS3s in the short term (we hear 180 units is 80% of this week's production run), at least this good ol' fashioned theft was the type where no one gets hurt, or killed.

yea and these guys are going to make a tone of money on this....
well this is going to be hard to notice... some ppl just pop up with $160000 (one hundred and sixty thousand dollars) and the cops dont give them crap lol

sorry, but i must say that i will not hail microsoft...
i'm TS for MSN, and still refuse to use it. Keep getting in trouble for installing Trillian on the comps at work.

how much are you selling them for? lol
If they are smart they will sell them a few at a time on ebay or other places, if they sell a whole bunch of them at once they will get caught

Heh amazing that they were even able to pull that off, Be funny seeing a car packed with Ps3 boxes running down street like million miles an hour rofl. I want a PS3 so badly >.< I play them a lot at Eb lol. I want one now too so its like old firmware, Because if my predictions go right, it will be JUST like the PSP ( well ish) lol. Firmware old ones = more accessibility.
SO I WANT ONE NOW! not in the summer -.-'. Im listenin to music on my PSP as we speak during my spare loll.
