cant get Devhook 0.51 to start

I have 1.5
I used the ultimate installer
installed it with the 3.01fw on the setup
then when I try to start devhook in the menu it just
goes into black screen, nothing happens.

Oh well. It's hard to get it to work.
The best advice I could give you is look up a devHook auto installer of any version.. Let it auto install, then upgrade.

upgrade? I cant use any previous versions of devhook that wont make it work.
and I just said I used an ultimate installer.

is there a probelm with this program? Like I dont want to do it by hand because Im afraid its
gonna overwrite my flash.

If you can't get devhook to work, well welcome to the club, I have infact gotten devhook to work, I dont understand whats so hard about it,
but apprently lots of people havnt gotten it to work. Its my guess you should use SE if you want 3.01 firmware so bad. The bad part about this
new great firmware is that it does not have much capabilities. Lots of bugs on it, its great and all, not much you can do on it besides the new features, a lot
of the great features sony has to offer on it cannot be used on SE which really sucks.
You're options are:
• Wait it out
• Use a tutorial
• Live without 3.01 and get 2.71 SE-C

I just wanna play Portable Ops and it requires 2.81
If theres something that can emulate up to that firmware then
that would be really great.

ok when I have devhook installed on my psp am I suppose to go down to where it says "install 3.01 firmware"
or something or will that overwrite my flash?
