Gold PSP

US, January 10, 2007 - It took two years for Sony to get around to releasing PSP software/hardware bundles featuring limited edition system colors. And now, following the brave first steps taken by Tales of the World and Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops late last year, the third such bundle has been announced.
Coinciding with the 2/22 Japanese release of Monster Hunter Portable 2nd, the sequel to the PSP's best selling title yet in Japan, Sony and Capcom are teaming up for the release of the Monster Hunter Portable 2nd Hunters Pack. This 27,300 yen bundle will include a PSP, copy of the game, AC adapter, battery pack, soft case, strap, a cleaner made to resemble one of the replenishing meat snacks from the game, and a couple of system skins.
We're not sure who'd actually use the system skins, though, as the bundled PSP is special in its own right. Black? White? Blue? Camouflage? Forget it! This time, Sony has put together a gold colored unit! Specially, the unit's color is referred to as Champagne Gold.
Only 22,222 Hunter Packs will be produced. But don't fret if you haven't pre-ordered. The Champagne Gold system, model PSP-1000 CG, will be sold on its own at a cost of 20,790 yen.
All the fun will be available on 2/22, only in Japan.

gross looking. I hate it. And I also hate how the colors are not available in parts of the world that people actually BUY the damn psp.

I hate fingerprints on my psp... I'm about to install a flat black psp faceplate soon... doesn't really fit this topic nicely but I'm just pointing out that the gold color is a mistake just as much as the "fingerprint plastic" is. In 6 months I don't think anything on my psp is going to resemble anything that Sony initially created for it.

Sony is getting into colorful video game consoles...
Check out the new ps2's coming out:
Pink, Blue, Powder Blue, Alien Green, Gold, and various other colors for the ps2 will hit the market around Christmas

I'd seen this a while back as well but I still think it is pretty neat. I was thinking about buying more ps2 games just recently actually. I was at Best Buy and saw some great titles that were in the greatest hits section. I was about to buy em all and keep myself busy for a while.

its not even one of them slim lines its a big fatty i got at a pawn shop. i play it every day i havn't got any new games though i think the last game i bought was flatout 2 or maby "teen age mutant ninja turtles 2" on my nes

Besides a good handful and a half of beautiful young women that I have seen (naked), I'd have to say that the PSP is right up there with em.
I am going to get a flat black faceplate for two reasons
1. no more fingerprints
2. no more "slippery" smudges (like when your fingers perspire just a LITTLE bit and the psp gets slippery... I hate that ).
Then I think I will get some red buttons to go along with it. I can't wait... the only reason I haven't started that already is b/c the flat black faceplates
that I have seen are $30. I'm about to check up ebay and get a fake 4gb stick too for music (can anybody say $20 ipod nano? lol)
