Hi. all.
I have just managed to downgrade my firmware from 3.03 to 1.5 after finding a used copy of GTA-LCS in a local store. The problem is it still won't run Homebrew. It won't even run the Network Config Backup to restore my network settings. I just get "The game could not be started (800200D9)" and its the same for any homebrew I try to run. :( What am I doing wrong?
Also I want to upgrade to 3.10 OE-A but havent a clue how to do it. Sorry for being such a noob.
Thanks

Ade

from version 1.50 you can upgrade straight to version 3.03 oe-c. I HIGHLY recommend 3.03 oe-c. It is the best firmware that has ever been created and will stay that way for a few months (in my opinion). It is also easier to make homebrew run b/c you can choose what kernel it runs the homebrew from... sounds complicated, but it isn't. I can help you out later tonight through AIM if you want (9:00 - 11:00PM Eastern Time).

Hi. Thanks for the recommendation, Dark. I don't have AIM, only MSN, Yahoo and ICQ but I found some good instructions on how to do it: http://www.pspbrew.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6974. So will give it a go later or tomorrow.
I'm new to all this so not sure what you mean by running Homebrew from different kernels. Lots of reading up to do;)
Thanks

Here's a funny thing. The 3.03 OE-C upgrade worked perfectly. Only now the unpatched version of GTA-LCS nolonger works on it. It makes the PSP shut down in fact. However the patched version works fine. Is this nornal??
