Because what they are doing is not illegal, it just ALLOWS for illegal things to happen. It's kinda like selling someone a gun. It isn't illegal to sell the gun, but it is illegal to shoot someone. Also, the psp homebrew scene has BEEN in the news, but this is a good article. BBC always has good stuff. If you are interested in more of this type of stuff, I'd recommend that you goto pspupdates.qj.net and read their interviews with the hackers, they are quite interesting and good reads.

AWSOME! to be honest, i allways thought he'd be busy with all this stuff and be a super dork, but he seems pretty cool. damn, thats awsome that he does it so easily. and he doesnt act cocky, hez realy modest.

PSNU: You seem to know the limits of the PSP well enough, do you think that someday we will get a decent emulator for the PSX or N64 working?
DA: One for the Playstation could be made if somebody dedicates a long time to it(months). And for N64…well, I do not believe that it can go full speed unless it is made for a specific game.
Looks like he will probably be wrong bout N64 emu. thankfully
