dnd or psp

what should be my main geek focus?

dnd used to be a practical way of enjoying a good RPG game style and invoked one's creativity as well; however, that was in the day of the atari when that type of game just wasn't possible. Now D&D is played by only hardcore fans and older fans that never grew out of the game's style.

I'd say that D&D is much more nerdy than the PSP can ever be.

ah indeed. i enjoy building a campaign. but i feel drawn to the allure of programming and hacking by the psp. i cant afford both however. its a toughie if ive ever seen one. ::sighs:: if only never winter nights was on psp

I'd choose the PSP path. The way I look at it, at least you will be gaining [programming] skills along the way. With D&D you just don't really develop any skills other than speechcraft or maybe team-building.
