Hahahah! I been helping people lately, but im s outta date,
It seems devhook is gone,
and custom firmware is in.
Im quite confused
IM still stuck on 1.5
:S is you guys making stuff for 1.5 still?
or is it all custom firmware

Custom firmware is where it's at.

I'm pretty sure its all custom firmware...Only really been on the scene since beginning of february, but yeah devhook is obsolete now.

Basically the custom firmwares combine the features of 1.50 and 3.03 or 3.10 whichever you end up choosing. Plus everything is a lot easier. I wasnt around when devhook was used but from what i understand is that you have to load devhook and then load the game and maybe a couple other steps that im forgetting. With custom firmware you just load the game straight from your xmb. Theres lots of neat features you can do too like customize your icons text volume etc.

Im upgrading
i had to charge psp overnight It needed 75% *piece f sh*t was almost dead*
But i listen to my music a lot lolll so i guess thts why,
*loads up more emulators to replace devhook space*

Updates on my psp:
I fell down 2 flights of cement stairs
thanks to a kid,
FRICKING HURT!
but ya my psp was in pocket when i fell,
And Ya,
THE UMD IS SHOT!
this proves that they have very strong casing if it can do tht and only break the UMD slot
I just had to bend the metal inside and close itlol.

For Homebrew:

Turn the PSP Off. Now, while holding the R-Trigger, turn the PSP on, you shoudl now be at a menu for recovery, go to "Configuration" and then go down to "Game Folder Homebrew (Currently 3.03 Kernel" and press X, it should switch to 1.5o Kernel, Viola Homebrew Works again.
