Hello all once again, sorry i havent been on for a while now.. alot of problems happening lately...

I have also been looking all around perth and i have not found 1 mod shop that does mod chips for PSP's! grrr my psp has been sitting in its little box for a while now... i have kept it clean and everything.. i have decided to get some cash and pay $145 AUD to Sony and get them to fix it...

so then after that i will get another attempt to downgrade/ upgrade... if i fail the psp is going to go through the wall... so yeah i am ok and everything is ok... oh yeah and also i think my parents are getting rid of the internet connection tomorow... or the day after..

Hopfully i will be getting this cash to help my psp and also more to start another internet connection...

What firmware are you?

His psp is bricked. Azza you wont be able to downgrade once sony fixes it because they will put 3.40 on there, we can still play online games togther tho I'll talk more with you on msn

Know what? I think you should just try to save some extra money for another PSP. I suggest you should get them at Pawn shops, becaus ethey cost like 99 dollars or hopefully, lesser. Then when you get it, the firware is open to homebrew. Hope this helps and good luck!! bro!

I agree with bo. Don't pay for them to fix it, just put some extra money in and get a new psp. I've seen them for as low as $150 with rebates, and many from stores that don't get a lot of business are still able to be downgraded

if i do get Sony to fix my psp.... they will make my psp have the latest firmware... so like what if i did that and then after they updated a bit more i can use some other firmware that will let me play homebrew.... i realy want to be able to play homebrew.... thats mostly the reason why i got a psp in the first place...

You can get a brand new psp from the store for $180 now. I'd gladly pay an extra $35 for homebrew compatibility. Most stores have older psp systems on the shelves that you may be able to pick up

From all the stores I even know of, a brand new psp costs $170 and a used one from gamestop only costs $150, so I just bought a used one and getting a new faceplate so it ain't scratched up, besides I managed to get a used 2.81 psp Now I just need to find LCS...ugh. You can rent LCS though, and then once u use it to downgrade return it.

jesus real considerate there des, I work a WHOLE lot so I'm not on much but when I can I stop in... and u are missed, sux whut happened to ur psp.. I got a guildie on WoW in Canada that wants me to set up files to downgrade and put 3.03 OE-c on his psp with a tutorial walkthru on a CD and send it to him... He said he'd hook me up with another 2gb mem stick for it?
