Whats this im reading about emu's not working on new psp's?

i was thinking about getting a psp so i could play all the old games on it but now im reading that it doesnt work on psp's other than OS 1.50? is this true?

sad, but true. i bought mine with the predetermined notion that i could but alas only versions 1.50 and below play emu's and i have 1.51 but there are hopes. Either they will hack 2.0 and we can all upgrade to that or there will be a downgrader program that makes the newer versions regress into the older versions.

To play homebrew you need firmware version 1.5 you cant run it on 1.51, 1.52 or even 2.0 but hopefully wab is bringin out a downgrader to downgrade all firmware to 1.5 just the question is, " is it true and when is it gonna come out"

i found a file that was called something like wabs_official_2.0_downgrader on morpheus but it'll probably be a virus

DO NOT download it, even if it says wab on it. Wab did not officially realease it yet, so that app may be fake and very well might brick your psp for life. So be safe and dont install that.
