How to attract members on a forum

I have just made a forum but I dont got much members.How do I attract members?Like make sure people see my site?Cuz I kno people who visit pspbrew dont just say:
Hey guys I just randomly found this site!even though I wasnt looking for it!cool eh? (no comment)
How do u guys make it so people notice that there is a site called pspbrew?

well when u do google searches it comes up like me i searched for psp homebrews and got this site and it also helps if u affilate with other sites

i was just giving an example on how u find sites dousche i suggest using google ads and affilated with sites that are based on the same conent as your site

Seems like everyone is getting their own site and expect sudden activity.
It is not that easy!
You know pspbrew did not even have forum, and its hits were hitting the ceiling..
So, don't think having a forum is your answer.. Do something that others don't!
And people should stop spamming pspbrew with their own site's posts, ads, "hey, take a look at" topics, etc..
