check out all the info here... http://pspupdates.qj.net/CFW-3-51-M33-6 ... /aid/97963

Additional Notes from Team M33 (taken word-for-word from Team M33's release page):

We've known that on some English-talk forums, there is someone called "McDanny" telling that he is part of M33 Team. This note is to say that he is NOT from M33, and just a faker wanting some attention. Please don't believe him, as you won't see any mail, notice or anything outside our webpage (m-33.narod.ru) or pspx forum posts.

To the attention of becus25 and Test30: Please do not do any of your releases based from our firmwares. You steal and change name but contribute a tiny 20-line plugin. You are a shame for PSP development!

For not Russian users - especially website admins: For every sites, if you appreciate our releases and the visitors that they bring to you, we would appreciate if you could put our Paypal link in evidence as we need to purchase hardware materials. Thank you.

I personally dont like the part they wrote to becus25, last time i checked becus25 never claimed any of those firmwares as his own he just released an 'expansion' to the existing firmwares. And also, team m33 reverse engineered DAX's work to be able to compile their 3.51 firmware...so in a sense their just as guilty for claiming someone elses work as their own if they really want to make those type of accusations. Dont mind me tho, just rambling on.

i feel the same way...its good that theyre trying to fix the bugs non stop but damn...release a new update once EVERY bug you know of is fixed rather than a new update for one or two bugs each time.

its exactly DAX's work... i can tell you this tho, after hearing their 'additional info' i will NEVER donate to them. Bout theyre complaining about a 20 line plugin...theres is what, a 2000 line plugin to sony's firmware? What's the difference, theyre both contributing to the homebrew scene same ways. I'm just hoping someone else comes out with custom firmware that rocks the s**t out of m33's cause i really dont like their ignorance toward other developers and their expectation of something in return for their work (basically saying bow down, we are the new gods of psp).

If you check becus25's page he left a message that he will no longer be making ie expansions.

has anyone bothered to update. I am running 3.4oe and that new no umd feature sounds pretty sexy to me. Would love to be able to play Madden 07 without a UMD.

I haven't and probably won't until they quit making so many patches. I'm still at 3.40OE-A :p

Just read on another forum becus25 response to it

  Code:
They say the true. I recognise that the "IE" expansions aren't more useful.

It is stopped. I will continue (if I have desire) the 1.62 IE the alternative firmware.

I just installed the version 6 of the firmware. It's awesome no need for UMD's at all now Harry and the Order Phoenix loaded right up so did Madden 07, mortal kombat. It does load iso faster also. Dungeon Maker used to take like 2 seconds to load got cut down to me seeing the loading pop up and disapear in the same breath.

yeah, so the new no-umd addons work great, but has anyone noticed that the normal umd required mode doesn't work? all it does is send you to a black screen, so games like streetfighter and burnout dont work anymore

nevermind i fixed it in advanced settings...
