Ok cool. I thought it was me.. Its been like this for a few days right?
Cause I tried the past 2 days and still wasnt able to get anything..

Also if you wouldnt mind.. I currently have a 1.5 and wondering if I should change my firmware.
Do you know which I should change to? I pretty much just like to play emulators, movies and music.
I havent really played many psp games. If this is the case, does it benefit me to change from 1.5 to the alternative firmware that they have on the site?
I know 1.5 is limited because it doesnt have internet capability.

Anyone able shed some light on the other firmware around and what should I upgrade to? Is it hard to do?

Also, I know this isnt the right section but if anyone could help me get any of the neo geo emulators to work I would appreciate it. I currently am able to boot the program but it will not acknowledge any of the games.. they dont even show up.

Any help is appreciated!

yes, just upgrade to custom firmware 3.40oea. It is more stable, for now, and has a higher compatibility with homebrew,
ISO, CSO, and plugins.

heres the winstaller if you need it.

Cool thx for the link!

Before I do this though.. will I need to remove the items I currently have on my memstick?
Like my emulators/roms as well as my music files?

Also, my battery is at 42% right now.. why does it have to have at least 75%?
Does it really use up all that battery power upgrading the custom firmware or is it just to be on the safe side?
Also, cant I just upgrade using my charger?

Will the custom firmware look/operate the same as the official firmware?

http://www.pspbrew.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=8484 here read the tutorial forum for the 3.40oe-a
and just to be in the safe side, fully charge your battery cuz you wouldnt want any mishaps.

and yes it will look and operate the same as the official firmware but with more benefits
(dont know if you know the details but i'll just show ya)
it will have a recovery menu, which you can enter by holding the R trigger when you on your psp and you can do many stuff there
(this is how it'll look)
Image
and you will be able to change you xmb icons
(example)

hopefully this can help ya out and have fun tinkering with your new firmware cuz theres a whole lotta stuff you can do besides the stuff i showed ya^___^
