ok, so i have a psp w/ a ta-082 motherboard.
i successfully downgraded it to 1.50 using Hen-D and the downgrader that works on it.

i upgraded it to 3.03 oe-a using Dark_alex's easy installer
then to 3.03 oe-b (CURRENT FIRMWARE)

NOW, there is a new 3.71 m33 release and I am dying to try it out.
So how? (TA-082)

Generally, what is the problem with TA-082 boards?
Does it mean that if i have successfully downgraded my psp to 1.50 (Sony)
i can UPgrade to any custom firmware (to any HIGHER equivalent custom firmware version)?

does it imply that i can deliberately follow any tutorials here that teaches how to change
a custom firmware to another custom firmware or update without them explicitly
saying that it is safe for TA-082 PSP with CUSTOM firmware number lesser than that
of the firmware i want to upgrade to?

i am really hesistant on following tutorials which deal with copying the original Sony 1.50 EBOOT
to upgrade to some custom firmware version

THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
you can kick my donkey if im annoying you (being a stupid noob and all).

STILL, i appreciate any help

Once you have downgraded you can upgrade to any custom firmware just like everybody else. The mother board no longer matters. Just follow the tutorials on this site and you will be fine.

For added assurance, don't worry about your motherboard being a TA-082. That's fine ;) Also keep in mind that questions should go in the "Help" section from now on. I'll move this topic there, but in the future, just make sure that the topics end up in the right spot. More importantly, welcome to PSPBrew. You'll find that all your questions will be answered here ;)
