how come theres a small white box when i run games? right before the game loads, it goes to the white psp screen but then theres a white box in the middle. i think its the gameboot file in the resource file that is causing this. i even tried putting the original flash0 drive into the psp but it still doesnt work can someone help me?

What do you mean a small white box? Like how big is it exactly? It could just be a dead pixel on your lcd.

lol its not a dead pixel or w.e im positive its a white box that appears when i run a game while my gameboot is running

sorry another question that might help is this. Are these iso's or actual disks? Also when starting an app like the web browser you will notice that the background that zooms in is white, perhaps this has something to do with it. Like maybe the background is being called at an incorrect interval. Just an idea.

ok there all csos but before that white box didnt pop up until i put a new theme or tried a cintro/gameboot on my psp

I would try changing the gameboot then for sure cause that sounds to me like the easiest fix. I doubt seriously the theme has anything to do with it.

i did i put it back to the original gameboot but it still has the white box thing...ive been browsing through the psp drive and i found a isocache.bin in system what is that...

I am not exactly sure but the issue since it relates to the gameboot I would guess is actually in the flash. Sorry I can't be more help to you but I am not familiar with the flash at all. I really would hate to cause a brick for you. Hang tight and wait for a more experienced brewer to come to your rescue. Just keep providing good information and give them as much detail as possible and someone should be able to help you.

hm, try deleting the gameboot stuff. Format your memory stick and try it again with the original "gameboot.pmf" file.

Just try putting a new theme on it then or put the original theme on it. I'm not sure what isocache.bin is for but I'm guessing it has something to do with the new cache feature Sony implemented in the slim psp's, or is similar to it but for phat psps. But try changing the theme, I did notice a while ago when I put a theme on my psp there was a white box on all the internet icons on the xmb. Like a little flashing white box. But it went away once I selected an option.

Oh, i've had that isocash.BIN file on my MS for a while, not sure what it does or anythin, its under root/psp/system.
