I get to the part where I'm supposed to open the "Pandora's Battery Firm. Installer" on my psp and wait for it to finish, my psp goes to the psp loading screen for a while and then just powers off, idk what's up with it

Are you on custom firmware or 1.50? In order to make the pandora's battery you need a PSP with custom firmware or 1.50 on it.
