Just wondering if anyone knows how to tell if a particular copy of LUMINES is the unpatched one. Im in the process of getting one but I want to try to make sure I dont get the patched one. I know not to buy a new copy but was curious if there was any way to tell by looking. ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED....

You can tell if its unpatched when you stick the UMD in your psp and the '2.00' firmware update appears in the Game tab.

The code on the side of the casing will be either...
ULJS00005 or ULJS19005

i read somewhere that the only patched ones were released in japan

Thats correct...so you dont have to worry about a copy being patched when you buy it anywhere else...just to be on the same side tho make sure the casings have either of those 2 codes.

GAH! thats what I thought! but someone told me wrong a while back that they did patch them..
