Ok so my I bricked my psp about a month ago and never got around to fixing it cause
I just used my brothers. Well today since 3.8 was released I decided to fix and ran into a
big problem I got this error message when trying to downgrade my psp to 1.50 from the
recovery menu.

Doing preparations...
Update Flasher by Dark_AleX
PSAR extraction code from psardumper (by PspPet).

You are about to flash your PSP.
Press X to start. By doing it, you accept the risk and ALL the respo
nsability of what happens.
If you don't agree press R button.
Error 80010002 loading/starting lflash_fatmt.prx
Error 80010002 loading/starting ipl_update.prx
Loading PSAR to RAM... done (memstick is not needed anymore)
Version 1.50
Formating flash0...PANIC: Error formating flash0.
done.
Creating directories...PANIC: error creating directories.
done.
Writing ipl...PANIC: error clearing IPL.
done.
Writing files... 100%
Process finished
Press X to restart the PSP

So I said "OK" I'll just make a pandora battery and magic stick with my brothers psp. When
making the magic stick the psp freezes and I turn it off now that ones bricked(how ridiculous is that...).
So I tried to downgrade to 1.50 through the recovery menu and got the same message as the
one above on my brothers psp. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ouch, so you already have the battery made? You can use that tutorial here tp make the memory stick files.

I bricked before I could make the battery so now I have 2 psps that give the same error when I use the recovery to downgrade to 1.50.

wow thats really strange, but it seems to be a problem with the return to 1.5 because it would be odd to both have that exact problem...

Your trying to use the 3.52 M33 and below recovery folder to recover your semi-bricked
PSP which will not work. I linked to the correct recovery folder you need to recover
your semi-bricked 3.71 M33 PSP to 1.50 firmware.

Ok solved the problem heres the link if anyone else is having the same issue.
