Same old kind of help needed... :(

Hey guys...

I have a PSP slim, version 3.60. I also have a mem stick that came with the Daxter bundle I bought. From what I understand, I need to make a pandora battery and get a magic mem stick to get CFW.

I also heard that by buying a DATEL TOOL battery (?) you can go to CFW.

I don't really know what to do and I have no access to a fat PSP's battery.

If anyone could give me some help, I'd greatly appreciate it. There are so many different tutorials and versions... I get so confused.

Thanks guys.

Thats correct...however the only way to make a pandora battery out of a slim would be by hardmodding it.
Heres a link to a tutorial.

Thats correct as well...instead of hard modding, purchasing the datel battery is a good option as well and can be used to get to custom firmware when its accompanied by the magic memory stick. You can create the magic stick with any psp.

Yup, Once you get the Datel you will be good to go. To throw the files on your memory stick; just use the link i gave you above and download the total newbi installer. It will throw all the files needed onto your mem stick for you. Dont know what size the bundle comes with but you need a mem stick between 256mb - 4gb otherwise it wont work. I'm pretty sure that Datel Sells their battery for about $15 - $20 on their website but i cant look it up at the moment because my computer is running terribly slow.

Great... So I ordered the DATEL TOOL and now all I have to do is wait...

The first thing I'd like to get on my PSP is the original Final Fantasy VII... I've been lookiung around the web, but I can't seem to see where or how I get it on..

Can anyone help me with this? I know I won't be using the help until I get to CFW, but I'd like to know what I'm doing before I do it.

Thanks.
