I had my slim PSP modded to play .cso games off the memory card. Everything was working fine until recently when games that did work stopped loading. Now I can't play but a few games. I get a message saying game could not be started (80020148). If it does load it will freeze up and shut off on its on. Please help.

System software: 3.71 M33-3
Nickname: Pandora

Try throwing a umd game or game demo in and then try to load your game from the mem stick.

If that doesnt work, Boot into recovery mode by holding the r trigger upon startup. Go into configuration and change no-umd mode to disabled. Then try doing what i stated above.

Well, you can try formatting Flash1 in recovery or try updating to m33-4.

Thanks...Is there a forum or tutorial on how to do that. Someone else did the homebrew for me.

To format flash1 you have to boot into recovery the same way i guided you with above except look for an option that says format flash1

To update to m33-4 Go here...
http://dark-alex.org/

download update 4 for your firmware. There should be a folder entitled M33Update in the download (you might have to click into the folders to find it) take The M33Update folder and throw it in your Game150 folder on your memory stick then run the update from your PSP just like you would load any other game. If you dont have a Game150 folder you can create it manually, it should be located inside the PSP folder.
