Hi i downloaded a XMB theme but i don't know how to install it i have 2 maps they are called Module and resource I never installed something like this before does someone know a tutorial for this ? :O because i used to just put a ptf file in the theme map

That theme involves messing with your psp's flash.

You must be on a custom firmware to do this.

Connect your psp using a usb cable. Then go into recovery mode, then go to Advanced > Toggle flash0

First copy everything to your computer and keep a backup of your flash just in case something happens. You may need to go into your computer's folder options to display hidden and system files.

module and resource are in the vsh folder of your flash. Copy over the folders. It should replace some of the psp's flash files. When it's done, start up your psp and you have a custom XMB.

I managed to install a theme but it suck but i've been so dumb to not save the original psp theme files how do i get them back ? i dont want the theme i have now

If you have pandoras then you can redo your psp. If you don't then you'll need to find someone with the original flash files.

Thanks for helping btw i've got my official theme back by updating to firm 3.90 :D:D

BUt do older xmb themes like those fore firm 3.40m33 or how its called also work for 3.90 m33 ?
