thats another reason i tried 2 stay away from the tuts on here, cause most of the ones are hardmodding.
if i could do it with just a CFW made pandora that would be nice. but i dont think it says i can.

no theres no menu, but the tutorial says theres not supposed 2 b 1.
and im running XP (vista is the devil lol)
and thanks for trying 2 help me. ive tried using around 5-6 slim tutorials.

P.S. I really hate the slim....

maybe somethings wrong with your mem. stick,

you must install the correct files, files for the slim
not a phat , cause it wont work if your using the files for the fat,

maybe cause you didnt use the mspformat.

If the lights don't come on when you insert the battery, then the problem is with your battery. No questions asked.

Yes, my tutorial doesn't show you how to softmod a battery. That's because if you only have 1 psp with the original firmware then it is IMPOSSIBLE to softmod a battery.

If you're only working with 1 psp then you have to hard mod it. If you want to softmod, then you must have a second psp with a custom firmware on it to run the application to make the softmod battery.

And by the way, there is absolutely nothing wrong with my tutorial. If there aren't steps in there, it's because they aren't necessary. Such as when you run the newbie installer. The directions are on your own d**n computer screen. If you can't follow my tutorial, then you probably shouldn't be messing with your electronics.

1st- i have a second psp (phat) thats running custom firmware (3.52 m33)
2nd ill try re-running mspformat even tho i already did it.(i followed the instructions 2 the letter cause slims are much easier 2 brick for good.)
3rd- the files i instaled are the ones for the 3.60 m33 firmware. the files are named pandora_slim and pandora_slim%

4th- i dont doubt your tutorial, nor should you doubt me. and i never said that there was anything wrong with your tutorial. all i said was that i didnt wanna hardmod, and that i just really didnt see any of the tutorials on this specific forum that i thought might be able 2 work. and if you read what the other guy said, which was that your tutorial was fairly new, which also means that i had NEVER SEEN IT BEFORE. and i also never said that your tutorial was missing any steps anyway. i really dont know why your getting all bent out of shape. and theres nothing wrong with my computer.
and you act like ive never done any research in my entire life. im pretty sure i know most of the basics on how 2 run pandora, downgrade phats and use simple programs. all i did was ask simple questions that had simple answers, i wouldnt use a tutorial unless i had 2.
