Hello.
I'm brand new to homebrew things but I had my PSP for more than a year now. I have an older PSP (not Slim). I am using the newest firmware 3.93.
I would like to know how can I use all the awesome homebrew applications and games and etc.
I heard that I need to have a custom firmware but I have no idea how to do it and is it possible.
I have never done anything weird with my PSP so I need in-depth explanation so I don't mess up my PSP.
Please help me 'cause I really want to make my PSP more efficient.
Thank you!

I read all the posts in your thread but my question is a bit different. You had 1.5 firmware and I have the latest, official 3.93 firmware and I want to downgrade it and then make a CFW so I can play homebrew games/apps. I have no idea how to do that.. :(

That doesn't sound too complicated. What should I be aware off before I start? Do I need an extra MemoryStick or can I use same MS?

Also, will I will be able to do this using Windows Vista?

Thanks for help!

you will need a second battery. but only one ms...you can format the ms after cfw has been put on your psp.

Also with vista it may work...some people have problems with it others dont. If it doesnt work on vista your goin to prob need xp
