Running iso's via USB

i can access pictures/mp3's with usbhost fine, but when i open an iso file it says "instert disc". do i need to change something around in config or what?

Do you have a game UMD disc in your psp? I think thats what it's asking. And yea iR Shell is a little confusing.

i have the ISO file ON my computer, i have no UMD for the game. how do i run the iso file?

Stick in a UMD game disc in your psp and see if it works.

try going into the recovery menu by holding r as you start up your psp ==> configuration ==> umd mode and us either the sony np9660 -no umd- or m33 - no umd-

you can do that without going in recovery mode, just press select in xmb, but yeah I have the same problem as the poster and ive tried that it still doesnt work. Ill try putting in a umd even though its not the game I want to play and loading the .iso file of the game I want.

i dont think i have ever pressed the select button, hmm...are you having ir shell automatically start from the plugin mode or turning it on from the xmb?

Okay after reading on http://www.irshell.org I figured out that even with the no firmware cheak patch loading a .iso file with irshell on cfw 3.90m33 isnt possible unless you have a dump of some of the flash 0 irshell files from a 3.80m33 psp.
