i just got my psp and i already updated it with the sony updates but i want to get a hack update like 3.95 m33 and i dont know how to do it and i have a psp slim

Wrong Section, please move to help.

You need to hardmod your battery(aka Pandora Battery) So you can run a downgrade. This will put you at 1.5, which will allow you to install CFW(Custom firmware)
Which lets you run homebrew.
And no, you can not put CS:S on a PSP and play it just like you would on a PC.
Thats like shoving a neo geo cartridge into a GBA and expecting it to work.

you dont have to downgrade all the way back to 1.5 if you create a magic stick using noobinstaller, itll put you at cfw 3.72

if you use Total Newbie Installer on a memory with at least 128mb
during the process of installing it, it will ask you which firmware you want to install i think its
opt 1 - 1.50 original firmware (for phats only
opt 2 - 3.52 original firmware (for slims
opt 3 - i cant remember
opt 4 - Universal Unbricker/Downgrader (for phats and slims) <== thats the one you want itll install cfw 3.72m33
opt 5 - none.

so again just choose option 4 when prompted

no no this just makes the magic stick.. to use it you either need a psp already running custom firmware and you can access the programs from the xmb or if you don't already have custom firmware you use a pandora battery to initiate the downgrader

Also is a PSP lite pandora compatible with a PSP fat?

well, you cant use a pandora to go back to 1.5 b/c he has a slim. Also you dont need to downgrade at all anyway b/c if you make the Despertar del Cementerio version 5 it will automatically update ya to 3.90m33-3

the despertar cementario is installed with the noobinstaller, but im not sure if you can use a slim lite pandora for phats, i know you can use a phat pandora for a slim

Slims can not go to 1.50.....Read up before answering.
