first off i want to say this is a great forum with a lot of informative members and ive learned a lot from you guys so kudos to you.

my problem is that i have a Datel MAX Power 1800mAh 3.6V battery that im trying to hardmod into a pandora but the board layout is different from anything ive seen in any guides.
according to several tutorials the battery IS able to be turned into a pandora, but i can't figure out which chip is the eeprom and what pin i need to lift.

heres a high-res picture of the board: http://img148.imageshack.us/my.php?image=img29011kx7.jpg

as you can see its got a completely different layout than the sony batteries and there are 2 similarly sized chips so im hesistant to just jump in and start destroying my battery
if anybody has any experience turning one of these things into a pandora and could shed some light on this problem id be grateful.

thanks in advance

Off the top of my head I'd say pin A of the smaller CPU at the top. However, that is a guess I don't reccomand you try it!!! You should buy a cheap battery online and Hardmod it or buy Premade.

I think one of the members here provided a link to where you can buy one for $10...

Wait... Why would you Hardmod your Max power battery instead of the regular battey? Wouldn't that just be a waste of like $30??? Not to mention that Li-ion batterys lose their battery life over time.

originally the datel max power battery i bought was like the only pandora compatible battery i could find before your post obviously, so i ordered it for the express purpose of pandorizing it. i wasnt planning on using it for a regular battery or anything because its supposed to be used in the fat psp, sticks out too much in my slim.

the way i modded the slim battery allows it to be returned to a regular battery with some pencil lead so im gonna try that out but if not oh well ill just pick up another slim battery...a fool and his money huh? lol

Get the installer from http://dark-alex.org, put the folder UPDATE in the GAME folder.

Download the 3.90 EBOOT from here and rename the EBOOT.PBP to 390.PBP and drop it in the Update folder. Put your charger in and update to 3.90M33-3.
