smash pack help

I am having some diffulculties.
here are my psp stats:
SLIM 3.90 m33-2
1.50 kernal thingy is on
i have smashgpsp 0.2b downloaded on my comp.
i have tried putting it into the following files with no positive results:
game150
game380
game
i have searched the crud out of this forum trying to find where i messed up.
i saw one post that said you HAVE to have 1.50/1.00 and one that said as long as you have cfw it will work
i have nester and snes9x on my psp and they are working fine so i do have some sort of clue as to what i am doing. any help would be much appreciated

You need an E-Loader to run 1.50 homebrew on a slim. Since a slim by itself can't run 1.50 stuff.

yah just download the E-loader, and then run the program from the Eloader.

installed eloader 1.00... smash was not listed. so i moved it to the other game files and got nothing out of it. any other suggestions?
note: nester was however listed and it is in my 150 file with the smash

Make sure you have the Smash files installed correctly. for instance, not smash>smash>(gamefiles), just
Smash>gamefiles

no there are only to files in there, smash.... and smash...%

i just realized i haven't downloaded any characters yet.. would that be an issuse?

ok wait... when you are going through your files is it like:
PSP>
Game150>
Smash
smash%
or is it like
PSP>
Game150>
Smash>
smash
smash%
It should look like the first, although it might go in regular "GAME" folder

well most of the time if you download it, mario and luigi are included
but if not then ya download some lol it wont work without characters

I would try to see how to make it work on a slim, but i'm using my psp to rip ISO's onto my HD

no luck even when characters are loaded. was reading through the eloader and it said it wouldn't read anything with a % on it. i moved the eboot file to the other smash folder and it showed up in the loader... but it said [ not homebrew]...

Place both smashgpsp and smashgpsp% on the GAME, or GAME150 folder, it doesn't matter which one as eLoader reads both.
Regardless both need to go in the same folder.
It should only come up as smashgpsp, it reads the smashgpsp% folder but doesn't show it.
