3.90 M33-3 Custom sounds?

Is there anyway to put a custom system_plugin.rco on your phat PSP (3.90 M33-3) without having the PSP freeze during certain times.
Such as saving while playing a UMD?

well don't toggle flash0 and just drop one into the resource folder, because you'll brick, like i did last night. i think there is a program you have to use, but it might be out dated, because when i used it, i was still on 1.5 whick was years ago...

I'm not the expert on flash0, in particular, and I haven't modded 3.90 M33 firmware, but I believe the only system_plugin.rco files that are compatible with 3.90 M33 fully are ones that were decrypted from firmware 2.60 and higher and then modified.
Not certain.
