Ok, so I try to use easy installers and I always get the ipl error, error in deviceiocontrol or whatever. So I guess it never writes the ipl. Can I just copy and paste an ipl? Anyone know what's wrong? :cry:

Better also mention I'm using ofw 3.93, using dcv4 with time machine I guess.
It has the install dcv4 bat file and it works fine until writing the ipl, it gives me an error but says installed successfully.

Are you using Vista? I hear it won't write the ipl.

It's the deviceiocontrol error.
0x00000000 or something.

Hm, is your Memory Stick formated correctly?
I just read something that the computer needs something in 'XP Service Pack 2'.
Go to control panel -> settings.
On the first page under System it should say something like:

Microsoft Windows XP
Home Edition
Service Pack 2
