If you still have the game box, check it and find out to see if it's compatible with Vista.

Did you try running it in WIndows XP SP2 compatibility mode? Just right click the shortcut > compatibility > Tick the box for "Run this program in compatibility mode for" and then select Windows XP SP2 from the drop down menu.

If it came with 4 disks it's the CD version, No DVD release has ever been more than 2 disks on PC, but lost Odyssey was 4 on the 360.

4 HD DVD discs? Dam, how much space do those things hold. 30GB or so right?

Oh. Lol, I must have had a bad source >_<. Is there a difference between Dual layer DVD's and Dual Layer HD DVD's?
I think a dual layer Blu Ray is 50 GBs?
I think I heard MGS4 is a 50GB game.

Mmmm o yeaaaa. You have regular DVD's and you have HD DVD's. HD DVD's haven't been around forever, why do you think HD DVD's officially lost the war between bluray just recently.
