Can you press like f10 or f11 when you reboot to get into a system recovery? Or just use cmd to do a system
restore.

Haha. That sucks. Make an AV for your PSP. Are you sure you just don't have a bad mem stick? I've never heard of a psp virus that corrupts files. Anyways looks like you have to format your stick.

Oh LOL. I thought MS meant microsoft. I understand now. Your best bet it to wrap it in aluminum foil
put in microwave. Select popcorn setting and leave in for 12.234 secs not a millisecond longer or
it will be toast.

What's my secret?

Be smart and go to websites that don't have viruses on them.
A good idea would be to closely monitor whoever gets on your computer besides you and think before you click.

One of the smartest things I ever did was not let my older brother on this computer.

Also, download Spybot. Immidiately after you think you went to an infected webpage, delete all your cache, history, cookies, everything, and run Spybot.
Just a precaution I do sometimes.

And if you want something illegal (ROMS or Keygens) use a safe site.
I don't know.... my site is pretty safe.... I don't know if there's stuff like that on my site or not. Probably. We share cool files all the time...
There's a link to my site in my signiture...
Hmmm....

yup its possible for your psp to get a virus, i was reading about it a while back when doing research on the updated psp CFW abilities. They never mentioned how to get rid of it w/o a comp though >.<

edit: you could go to the library and use their virus software to remove it....

Its not really a virus. I jumped the gun :P

Its just an annoying corrupted folder...

Heres a list of what its done:
    #1 Corrupted PSP/PHOTO/.

    #2 restored PSP/PHOTO/ and created PSP/PHOTO/1/

#3 Moved from PSP/PHOTO/1/ to PSP/GAME/afkim/ and corrupted 30% of files.

    #4 I renamed PSP/GAME/afkim/ to PSP/GAME/m/ so I could reinstall AFKIM.

#5 It left PSP/GAME/m/ and went back to PSP/PHOTO/1/

#6 It copied everything in PSP/GAME150/pspguitar/ to PSP/GAME/m/.

    #7 I deleted PSP/GAME/m/.

Thats all its done so far :P

I don't even see how that's even possible.
Maybe it corrupted your memory card whenever you ran some random data off the internet since the card isn't that secure because of the Magic Memory Card effect...
But I really don't see how it's possible to get a virus on the PSP.
Did you visit a website on your computer or PSP or something?
Or was it a program that you downloaded and ran?
