You need custom firmware to be allowed to run any type of homebrew.
Reason why: OFW does not let you run unsigned code.
CFW let's you run unsigned code.

You need custom firmware. Check out the tutorials section for tutorials on making a pandora's battery to install custom firmware.

Every time some one new comes along you guys always give out the old methods for doing these things.
Here is the ( in my opinion) method for downgrading.
Order a battery from deal extreme in the link in my sig, then when roxfox posts here (I know he will) Follow his link for the auto installer to turn any memory stick 4gigs or under into a magic memory stick. Booom your done and running homebrew.
1/-0 out.

How did we give the old methods? I said make a pandora's battery, same thing you said. You didn't say anything more "up to date" then what we mention aside from that link someone posted to some news articles or something. So please explain how we always give out the "old methods".

You always say go look at the tutorials, and the majority of them require two PSPs, we can easily just post the Deal Extreme battery and Roxfox's desperto cementario method as a standard. It's cheap and easy. If they have any issues with it, we can then show them some other options. Just saying it's the easiest method for people to get their psp running CFW

So checking the tutorials section is an outdated method? You didn't help him anymore more then me. You didn't even link to a tutorial, just a battery. If he couldn't have made the battery himself then we could've told him various ways to buy it. Your "methods" are just as outdated as mine in that case. But whatever.
